Win a place on a fantastic 4-day Food from the Regions cookery course!

All customers placing an order at The Jolly Gourmand Online Store before 30th June will be entered into our free prize draw, for a chance of winning a place on the fantastic 4 day residential 'Food from the Regions' cookery course at the famous Women's Institute school of cookery, Denman College.

The course runs from 31st August to 3rd September 2010 (4 days/3 nights) and accommodation will be provided at the college on a full board basis.  


The rather splendid Denman College provides a grand setting from which the course adventures through the regions of Britain, with recipes representing a mix of old regional favourites and exciting new ideas using the range of great ingredients that are grown or reared on our shores.

The course features some delicious dishes, from well known traditional recipes such as 'Cullen Skink' from Aberdeenshire; 'Cider Apple Cake' from the West Country; Welsh Lamb with redcurrant from Wales; to fish pates from East Anglia. The lucky winner will be making recipes to suit every occasion from starters, main meals, puddings and baking.

(Please note, no alternative dates are available and the prize does not include travel to and from the college.)

About Denman College
 
Built in 1803, the college has an esteemed history, and was used by the Air Ministry during the Second World War, before being bought by the NFWI in 1947. It is located within 17 acres of parkland and is surrounded by nature trials.

Accommodation is provided in one of the 72 delightfully themed, en-suite bedrooms. Each room is lovingly maintained by the various County & Island WI Federations giving every room its unique character.
The elegant public rooms give all students a welcome opportunity to relax and socialise, and meals are served from the Dining Room - which caters for all diets.


How to Enter
  • Simply purchase any product from the 'Jolly Gourmand' web shop to gain a free entry into the Prize Draw. Each complete purchase will count as an entry. The lucky winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries on 5th July, 2010  and contacted within 5 working days of the draw date, by email. 
Terms and Conditions
  • Prize is a single place on the 'Food from the Regions' cookery course, running from the 31st August, 2010 to 3rd September, 2010. No cash alternative, alternative prize, or alternative course dates are offered.
  • Accommodation is provided by the college on a full board basis, all rooms are on a single occupancy basis. Accommodation is provided for the nights of 31st August, 1st September, & 2nd September.
  • The winner must arrange their own transport to and from Denman College (full address: Marcham, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX13 6NW, T: 01865 391991).

  • This free prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 16 or over except for employees of e-Picker Limited, their families, agencies or any other company directly connected with the administration of this promotion, who complete an order on www.thejollygourmand.co.uk website by 30th June 2010.
